The aims of the project:
to spread the concept of European Citizenship among teachers and pupils
to promote tolerance and respect towards other races, cultures and societies and the peaceful cooperation
to stimulate the interest in studying European languages
to contribute to the improvement of the quality of education by motivating teachers and students to learn from others
to produce and share educational materials
The activities carried out:
The project involves six schools from five European countries. It lasts three school years, from September 2001 to June 2004. Students aged from 14 to 16 work on the project activities in different school subjects.
Each Department in each school works in co-ordination with other countries according to the previously agreed programme. Each year, two parts of the programme are carried out.
During the first part, the information for other schools is being prepared, worked out and placed in the common web site. In the second part, the information received from partners will be used and processed at each school.
