Some recipes used in the common cooking

Ingredients: 1.5 l water, a couple of eloves of garlic, marjoram, potatoes, salt, 3 of 4 eggs

Instructions: Peel the potatoes and slice them to small cubes and boil them in salt water till tender. Add eggs and sieved garlic and marjoram to boiling water and then put some more salt. After a while stop boiling in order to prevent the soup from turning bitter and serve.

The "creators" of dessert decided to supervise the baking process altogether so as not to spoil their product by baking. This half-an-hour process was really thrilling. But the strategy was successful as the dessert was really delicious.Black Slices with Icing

Ingredients: 120 g butter or margarine, 380 g fine-ground flour, 380 g icing sugar, 3 eggs, 40 g cocoa powder, about 250 ml milk, baking powder

Instructions: Stir butter, sugar and yolks for about 1/4 hour. Add flour with cocoa and baking powder, milk and whipped albumens. Pour the batter into the baking-sheet sprinkled inside with flour and bake in warmed-up oven for 30 – 35 minutes.

There were mostly boys in the second group. It proved better to consume the rest of sweet  cream  secretly in the ajoining room for teaching aids.Icing: 125 g margarine, 4 tablespoons icing sugar, 3 tablespoons cocoa, 3 tablespoons milk, 2 tablespoons rum, 1 yolk.

Instructions: Melt the margarine, add sugar with cocoa. Mix milk, yolk and rum in another bowl. Then mix everything together, make a thicker mixture and spread it on the baked cake. When the icing is stiff, we can spread grated coconut on it or decorate it another way.


In order to experience our cooking qualities, the teachers were offered to taste several items from our cold buffet.As cold refreshments we prepared Roquefort Butter (stir butter with grated Roquefort, flavour and spread on white bread, put halves of walnuts on it), Camembert Butter (2 pots of mayonnaise dressing and two grated Camemberts mix together with a chopped onion), we also bought various spreads, put them on white bread and made open sandwiches and canapés decorated with smoked goods, cheese and vegetables.
